COPS is a simple but powerful tool you use to protect students from stumbling
upon improper websites while surfing the Internet. With COPS, you set up a
small but powerful piece of hardware that has an embedded filtering system. No
software needs to be installed on individual lab or school computers. It works
with PC, Macintosh, Unix, BEOS, and virtually all Internet-capable computing
devices. Once set up, this filtering system does the job so you don't have to
worry.
The COPS fee is $950.00 for the first year, and $420.00 for every year after that.
This includes the technology and leasing the equipment for one lab (up to 25
computers). You can also get this technology for your office computers. This
equipment can be installed by your technology staff.
