- 1. Using CA State Transcript Codes in ReportWriter.
- If you are using ReportWriter/WEB, our student information system, you have the ability to set your course transcript codes into the system. When you designate new courses for each of your students, you set the CA State CSIS Transcript Code Number. The school can then query on the courses taken by your student population for things like CBEDS and STAR testing. For more information about this, please call the office: 866-200-6936.
- 2. Latest Book Additions to ReportWriter.
- We add new books to the program in two ways:
- The State has a new adoption. As soon as we can get the new books, we put them onto the program
- A teacher or school requests the books. When a school requests the book, they send us a teacher's edition that remains on our shelves and we charge the school for the entry.
- Our new policy is to send for approval through a book request form. If you email or call and request a book be entered onto the program, we fill in the book request form with the name of the book, the name of the person requesting it and the estimated cost of development, and send it to the school for approval. This form is approved by an authorized person and sent back to us with the book. It is then placed on our development list.
- We will be contacting each of our schools to request the authorizer in the next couple of weeks.
